We are incredibly excited about our partner’s, Microsoft Corporation, long-awaited release of Microsoft SQL Server 2014, the foundation of Microsoft’s comprehensive data platform. SQL Server 2014 offers a breakthrough performance for mission-critical applications, using enhanced in-memory technologies, delivering faster insights from any data to any user. On top of this SQL Server 2014 hybrid data platform enables the users to take advantage of various benefits of progressive and innovative cloud computing, such as cloud backup and cloud disaster recovery for on-premises SQL Server installations.
Microsoft has also made generally available the SQL Server Backup to Microsoft Azure Tool, a free tool that allows customers to backup older versions of SQL Server to Azure storage.
All this means that DB Best will be able to help our new and existing clients to modernize their applications to the new most innovative, reliable and efficient platform. We already have dozens of upgrade and migration projects running today, and are very much looking forward to many more in the nearest future!
