Sub-divide and Segment Visual Placement

Power BI – Sub-Divide and Segment Visuals

Sub-dividing and segmenting your visuals will help keep your dashboard cleaner, give your visuals the necessary space, and allows for easy-to-find filtering options. More importantly, it helps keep similar data visualizations together, allowing each to benefit from the others.

Let’s take a messy and disorganized Power BI Dashboard and make it visually appealing and easier to use. We’ll also show how users can interact with dashboard filters to make it more accessible.

Here we go!

In short, if your dashboard is laid out based on similar data and functions, as well as readability, then your dashboards will be much better. As a result, your users will find it much easier to navigate and comprehend the story behind your data.
