DB Best is very excited to announce that Rick Heiges has joined our team as a Principal Solutions Architect and will be based in North Carolina, USA.
Rick has spent the past 10 years in the consulting world as a Sr. Solutions Architect working with enterprise customers mainly in the US, but also as far south as South Africa and as far North as Iceland. He served 9 years on the Board of Directors for PASS, including 2 years as VP of Marketing, where he created the popular 24 Hours of PASS Events; he continues to serve the organization on special projects and lately the program committee for the annual summit. Rick is also a SQL Server MVP and strong supporter of the SQL Server Community as a whole.
His impressive career path can easily compete with his educational background, which includes a BSCS, MBA, and MS in Information Systems. Rick also spent 4 years on the Full-Time Faculty of High Point University. He continues his academic affiliation through service on several Advisory Boards for Certificate Programs at the University of Washington.
