SQL Server DBA
DB Best is looking for an experienced SQL Server DBA in Syracuse (must be local to Syracuse or willing to relocate) who has both broad and deep knowledge of SQL Server platform to join a team of world class experts. This is a great opportunity to get exposed to multiple customer environments and be on the edge of Data Management technology as it gets deployed to top tier companies.
REQUIREMENTS
- Looking for a subject matter expert in – SQL Server 2005/2008R2/2014/2016
- Expertise / knowledge of StarQuest Data Replicator (SQDR); IDERA SQL Diagnostic Manager a plus
- Subject matter expert in database programming and design, query tuning and troubleshooting, and knowledgeable with HA/DR technologies
- May serve as a Data Architect consultant to business, security, or other IT departments
- Versatile, knowledgeable and comfortable providing input outside area of expertise
- Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge of principles and practices of a particular field of specialization to the completion of difficult assignments
- Managing storage – a plus
- Managing virtual machines – a plus
- SQL development skills – a big plus
- Sense of humor – a plus
