News: DB Best’s Daniel Janik earns Microsoft Data Platform MVP Status

05 Sep 2017

Microsoft has recognized Daniel Janik as a Data Platform MVP. The Microsoft MVP Award celebrates technology experts who passionately share their knowledge with the community. In Daniel’s own words, here’s what he had to say about earning MVP Status:

“My head may very well explode. I was doing some tuning today and glanced at the Outlook new mail notification. At first I thought it was spam and then I did a double take.

It was a thank you from Microsoft and notification that I was awarded MVP for 2017-2018! I nearly fell out of my chair and I seriously couldn’t have been more excited. Thank you.

I cannot thank the community enough for allowing me to speak at your user groups, reading my blog posts, and selecting my sessions for SQL Saturday. I truly feel honored be a part of the SQL community and I love meeting new faces and chatting with friends at each event.

So again here’s a big THANK YOU! To the community.”

So, from everyone at DB Best, we would like to give a very hearty congratulations to Daniel Janik for this fantastic achievement!
