Available operations with Vertica

With Database Compare Suite, you can connect to Vertica and the above-mentioned databases to perform the following operations with schemas, data, and even database settings. The core operation of Database Compare Suite is to compare database schemas and synchronize them.  But as they say, but wait – there is more!

For example, you can compare data, as well as migrate it or synchronize. For data warehouses, we’ve crafted a fast data comparison operation that allows for discovering whether the data in two really big tables are equal or not in just a blink of an eye. In addition, you can compare database settings with the help of Database Compare Suite.

Major improvements for all platforms

We upgraded one of the most popular operations, which is the detailed data comparison. Previously, you could see the lines of the tables with different values. However, that was not enough to discover the differences. Now you can double click on the selected line to open the window with the detailed comparison of the data in the selected table row.

Also, we improved the database schema operation options. Now you can include or exclude flex tables, projections, and text indexes from schema comparison and synchronization operations. In this way, you can select the objects for comparison and synchronization that really matter.
