News: DB Best Helps Move 3TB Sybase/PowerBuilder Application to SQL Server for an Insurance Company

DB Best has successfully completed a 3 TB Sybase-to-SQL Server 2008 R2 migration project for one of the largest insurance companies in the world. The project included moving all of the Sybase database components to SQL Server (including tables, stored procedures, triggers, etc.), modifying its PowerBuilder and Perl applications to run with SQL Server, creating and running data migration packages, testing and validating the converted code and database, improving the performance of the converted application, integrating all of its components and “going live”.
