DB Best returned to our booth at S4 this week. Our enthusiastic staff members were clamoring for the opportunity to helm the booth and chat with our valued colleagues at Microsoft. This week, DB Best has been participating in the Microsoft Oracle Migration Airlift at the Microsoft campus in Redmond. Dmitry Balin was on site to assist with delivering the keynote. This training session was hosted by Microsoft to prime Enterprise Systems Integrators on the finer points of SQL Server 2016 migrations. On Tuesday, Bill Ramos presented a full day of training on SQL Server 2016 for the Oracle DBA. DB Best's Joe Fleming has helped to kick off our participation in a series of Oracle Migration Workshops hosted by Microsoft. Today's workshop in Detroit began the series of six that DB Best will be helping to drive, and it was a fantastic success! Microsoft has release an update to SSMA for Oracle, DB2, Sybase ASE, MySQL, and Access. SSMA simplifies the database migration process by automating all aspects of migration, including migration assessment analysis, schema, and SQL statement conversion, as well as migration testing to reduce cost and risk of your database migration project.
