News: Rick Heiges at SQLSaturday 440 in Pittsburgh, PA
We’re very proud and excited to have our Center of Excellence professionals to actively participate in various events, and support SQL Community across the US and abroad.
During the next several weeks Rick Heiges, DB Best Principal Solutions Architect, will be presenting at multiple SQLSaturday events. Rick will share his insights and hands-on experience with the new features of SQL Server 2016.
His session “First Look at SQL Server 2016” will first be shared already this Saturday, October 3, 2015 with the attendees of SQLSaturday Pittsburgh.
Rick will present this session again on:
October 10, 2015 at SQLSaturday Raleigh
October 17, 2015 at SQLSaturday Charlotte
As Rick describes it: “Microsoft has been busy working on the next version of SQL Server – SQL Server 2016. We will go over some of the new features at a high level and dig deeper on Row Level Security and StretchDB. Row Level Security allows you to add another layer of security to your environment. StretchDB will allow you to transparently place part or all of a table into a SQL Azure DB freeing up your valuable SAN space for data that is COLD.”
Don’t miss it! And let us know what else you would be interested learning about.
