This is a three-day training course. Day 1 & 2 training will be based on the Oracle University training for beginning DBAs/developers that will compare and contrast Oracle features and processes with SQL Server 2017 capabilities. This section will consist of 12 modules that include one module on migrating an Oracle database with the latest version of SSMA to SQL Server 2017.

Day 3 training will be based on the SQL Server 2017 training to demonstrate to Oracle DBAs the differentiating features of 2017 that might include, but not limited to: R-Integration, PolyBase, Power BI, Cortana Analytics, etc.

Throughout the training, we cover how your team’s Linux experience translates to running SQL Server 2017 on Linux.
